Zapier is a popular automation tool that links apps together with simple rules called Zaps. A Zap has a trigger ("when this happens") and one or more actions ("do that"). You build them by picking from menus. If you can set up an email filter, you can build a Zap.

Getting started

Set up in three steps

About ten minutes from start to your first working Zap.

    Create your API key

    In the app, open Workspace, then API Keys, and click Create API Key. Give it a name like "Zapier" and copy the key right away. For your security it is shown only once.

    If you are asked to pick permissions, choose Interviews, Talent Pool, and View Applications.

    Connect your account in Zapier

    Add the Cuee app to a Zap using the invite link from your account manager. When Zapier asks for the API key, paste the one you just copied. Zapier confirms the connection by showing your company name.

    Seeing your company name means you connected the right workspace.

    Pick a trigger, add your actions

    Choose what should start the Zap, for example a scored interview, then tell Zapier what to do with it, for example post the score to Slack. Turn the Zap on and you are done.
